The law requires UK traders with sales (turnover) above the VAT threshold to register for VAT and charge it on supplies of goods or services. Businesses have to register for VAT if their VAT taxable turnover is more than £85,000. You can also choose to register if your turnover is less than £85,000.

We can help you with this, registering you and advising when you should register and what scheme you should be on. There is the Cash and Accrual scheme as well as flat rate. You can also opt to do monthly, quarterly or annual claims so can all be a bit confusing.
