This airport handles the vast majority of commuter and commercial traffic for the country, connecting with virtually all major cities across the world. There are 36 deep-water ports in the country of Brazil, including Santos, Itajaí, Rio Grande, Paranaguá, Rio de Janeiro, Sepetiba and Vitória. Long-distance buses provide inter-city links with services running almost every 15 minutes from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Local bus systems also function in most cities and towns and Metro rail networks run in major cities. There are limited passenger train services running in Brazil. Routes in operation include links between João del Rei and Tiradentes and Campos do Jordão to Santo Antônio do Pinhal.
