Peterborough is a major city located on the banks of the River Nene located in the county of Cambridgeshire. Settlements have been found on the site that date back as far as the Bronze Age. The city has been home to many famous people including Sir Henry Royce, Paul Nicholas and David Seaman. Peterborough is also known for major landmarks such as Peterborough Cathedral, the Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery, Burghley House and the Bronze-Age archaeological site of Flag Fen.
