Parktown is a large suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. Known as one of the parks, it is the first suburb north of the inner-city. Transport Information

Getting to the suburb is quite easy, as it located from O.R. Tambo International Airport. It offers international flights (i.e. from London, Paris and Frankfurt) and domestic flights. Getting downtown from the airport is possible by rail (Gautrain, a rapid suburban rail network) and by taxi (metered). Johannesburg is built for car and the public transportation system is still being developed, however Parktown has Metrobus service.
