South East London covers a huge part of the city and includes areas such as Greenwich, Croydon and Southwark.

The area is full of major business centres, historic landmarks and entertainment venues, and is well-connected to the rest of the city via excellent transport links. Some of South East London makes up the oldest parts of the city, and Southwark is still considered an ancient borough. This area has also undergone extensive renovation within the past decade, with improvements to business facilities found within.

Setting up your business here

South East London is home to a wide range of businesses across an array of industries. There are excellent networking opportunities for any business with office space here, as some of the largest names in business are based in the area. Although there are fewer underground services in South East London, the area is well served by mainline rail links, heading across the whole of the UK.

Culture and Entertainment

One of the most popular and stunning places to visit in South East London on warmer days is Greenwich Park , which is one of the most historic of London’s Royal Parks and features a huge amount of green space, considering its place in the heart of the bustling city. Greenwich Park is home to the Greenwich Meridian and a variety of museums including the Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark , a 19th century clipper ship which now hosts its own museum.

The Horniman Museum, close to Crystal Palace Park, is another popular option for a day out. Featuring a beautiful labyrinthine aquarium and a large taxidermy collection, there is plenty to fill a day here. The museum is also home to manicured gardens which are enjoyable during the summer.

Eating out

Meze Mangal is a simplistic yet classy restaurant, serving traditional Turkish kebabs and pide dishes in a basic dining room. This would be the ideal venue for a lunch or relaxed dinner before a night out, and the prices are wonderfully affordable.

For a more modern option, Le Querce serves very fresh and simple Italian dishes and daily fish specials in a beautifully delicate setting. The restaurant features pavement tables, providing an enjoyable place to sit on warmer days and watch people walking by, whilst the interior of the restaurant has a vintage decor including old-fashioned photographs on the walls.
