There is international and domestic train service to many places within Norway. You can also drive to Norway from Sweden, Finland, or Russia. There is limited passenger service on boats, and there is ferry service from Germany and Denmark. Getting around Norway, especially if you want to visit any wilderness areas, is best done with a car.
